Creative professional headshots of staff required for PR and website
For a business wanting to stand out from the crowd, having homogeneous studio headshots is not the solution. This business recognised that its staff are its asset and that in a crowded marketplace personality stands out. They sought creative professional headshots that showed the individuals in their best light.
With an expanding team the brief was also specifically to have different backdrops for each person,
so that they could be added to as the team grew without the need to match each shot. A common style was wanted, but different backgrounds could also reflect personalities. And for overseas personnel they can commission photos without it looking out of place if not identical. They clearly understood the need for photography within their marketing strategy and knew what they wanted commissioned.
This SAAS business also wanted to ensure their young spirit and ethos came across, they didn’t want to be corporate or stuffy. Some had backgrounds in Ad agencies and there was also diverse career experience within the team. They needed their website photos to come across as professional to attract the right clients and investors.
This was an interesting brief that gave me creative freedom
to seek out great backdrops and look for where the light was best, to get headshots of each individual that reflected something of them and their personality. They were surprised by how quickly I found the right spot and how easy it was for them to relax in front of the camera. Being able to produce a variety of shots for each person that was unique but had a common feel to them was the key to this photography commission.
